This week’s On the Reading Table books are a mix of reading and listening—and I love that for me!
First up:
📖 The Body by Bethany C. Morrow. I discovered this one through a Goodreads challenge list. It’s a supernatural horror novel about Mavis—a woman haunted by her strict religious upbringing. As strange and escalating events begin to affect her life and marriage, she’s forced to confront both her past trauma and her faith.
This is my first time reading anything by this author… so stay tuned!
📖 Expect Great Things! How the Katherine Gibbs School Revolutionized the American Workplace for Women. This one also came from a Goodreads challenge—this time for Women’s History Month. I’m excited to dive into this story and learn more about its impact.
🎧 Now let’s talk audiobooks…
I’m currently listening to:
🎧 The Inheritance: A Fogpoint Harbor Novel by Jennifer Lush*🎧 The Haunting of Mackenzie Keep by Cat Knight*
Both are on Audible and not very long—but I have to be honest… I need to listen to them again because I fell asleep! 😂
Yes, I’m one of those readers who:👉 reads a physical book first👉 then switches to an audiobook when it’s time to wind down
And I’ll be sharing more about that soon!
💬 Let’s talk: What’s on your reading table this week? Reading minds want to know!
